Hurumanu 1 work!

Hello readers. today I'm going to share my work. I and Hans have marked make a chess thingy but our version, but our chess thing needs to be about sustainability! this is my work and hope you learn something!

Game info - In this game, there is the protector of the forest and the thing that destroys it. On the good side, the pawns are shown as bushes, showing that plant lives in the forest. The rook is a monster myth, the name of the monster tikbalang, the high of the tikbalang is a 5 coconut added!  we have marked this the rook because it's big and that means that it can walk far in straight! the horse on the good side is Tiyanak, Tiyanak is a vampire baby most of the old people said Tiyanak is a son of the women that died is a birth state, old people from the Phillippines said that the Tyanak change's it's form info a cute baby in the Forrest, u might think who would leave the baby in the Forrest, Tyanak ambush you when you carried it we have marked it as a horse. leshy, Leshy in Slavic mythology, the forest spirit. The leshy is a spot ghost who enjoys playing a trick on the people though when angered he can be treacherous. He is seldom seen but his voice can be heard in the forest laughing, whistling, or singing we have marked it as bishop. the queen, the queen on our game is papatuanuko, papatuanuko is the god of the earth or earth mother he's the mother of the earth and she protects it. tane mahuta, tane mahuta is the god of the forest he is the son of papatuanuko.

the bad side - the pawn of the bad side is an axe, the axe is the thing that can destroy forest but now we have a more powerful thing that can destroy it more high tech stuff. Poison, the Poison is the thing that can destroy the forest in a small amount of time we have marked it as a rook. Fire, the fire is on bad side because it can destroy most of the forest in a single fire we have marked it as a horse. the chainsaw is one of the things too because it can destroy a tree easily we have marked it as bishop. the queen is money because the queen supposes to be a strong one money command humans so the money fit to be the queen on the bad side. human is king on this mage important but not strong just like king.

Questions:

1, What did you make? I planed to make a game about deforestation but we needed 3D printer but it got broken, so I just tried to share the idea that I and hans have to think.

2, why? I have picked game's so I can share it with my friend and I can play with them.

3, How does it relate to sustainability? we have made the chess piece into a historical myth the mythical monster that protects the forest, the other one is the thing that destroys forest so we have done a historical work and deforestation too.

ESOL work - Myth/Legend about monster

Hi, readers. Today I'm going to share the work our group has made. Ms. Briggs told us to make a DLO about a spooky myth so our team decided that we are putting some mythical creature that old people in the Philippines say. We have marked a slide and we have put some of the legends about some monsters in the Philippines. On this slide, we have put  5 monsters and some of their doings, what are they, and they look like.

Hurumanu 2 - heart

Hi, guys today I'm gonna share my work at hurumanu 2 science. I and the whole class have been learning the heart part we have Dissect the heart of a cow, it's a bit discussing because it's a bit stinky.

what we have been learning about?

we have been learning the heart on Quizlet, slides and the dissection we have cut a cows heart and see the parts of the heart.

Why are we dissecting a heart? we have dissected a heart to see the parts and how it works we have looked at the parts but we didn't see a two-part the heart because the butcher cut it, the veins and the Atrium.

what is the part of the heart? did u see them? the part of the heart that I see in the left ventricle has a thin part and the right ventricle is the hard one the valve is the thing that takes blood with no oxygen to the lungs and the vein puts the blood on the heart we saw the ventricle too. we didn't see the vein and the artery because the butcher cut it.

did you enjoy the dissection? Why/Why not? I didn't enjoy it because it's a bit stinky but I liked learning and seeing the parts of heart. I liked cutting the part and learning how to cut and see the parts.

Hurumanu 1 work!

Hi guys,  welcome back to my blog and today I'm going to share my work at hurumanu 1. we have picked a book from the library and we have taken info on the book and on some site, hope you like my blog.

                                              (My Paragraphs/Climate change)

Introduction: what is Climate change?

On the work! We are gonna talk about climate change! What is climate change?

Climate change is a type of weather where cold temperatures in the Antarctic are becoming hot. It changes the weather. But how? We use a lot of fossil fuels when we use a lot of fossil fuels that put carbon dioxide on the earth and it makes it hotter, now the ice in Antarctica is melting and We kill trees. What do the trees have to do with it? The old trees inhale the carbon dioxide and when they exhale the carbon dioxide is gone we killed a lot of old trees but we don’t know that the old trees inhale a lot of carbon dioxide but the amateur one/new trees only hale small because of it now we have global warming. We will talk about the effects, the impact, and solutions. We will learn how to slow it and how to help the earth!

What are the causes of climate change?

The cause of climate change is humanity! Why humanity? Humanity uses fossil fuels. For example coal, oil, and gas to generate electricity a lot to run cars and other forms of transport, they use fossil fuels non-stoply, and because of that many carbon dioxides! What does carbon dioxide do? Carbon dioxide makes the earth hotter but  The living trees absorb and store carbon dioxide, Deforestation, trees absorb carbon dioxide but we kill trees that help us protect the earth! Why not just plant many trees? Even if you plant a lot of plants, A new/mature tree absorbs carbon dioxide at a rate of 48 pounds per year. In one year, an acre of forest can absorb twice the CO2 produced by the average car's annual mileage.

What would be the impact of climate change if we didn’t stop it?

Many things will affect the lives of people! The water rising because of heat and the ice on Antarctica will be melting because of us. Many people think climate change is a joke but they don’t know if will change the way we live climate change do a lot of things that can change the earth, we might do things differently in the future, we might live on the top of the mountain if not maybe we would need to build a city for the people but this city might not be on the ground maybe on the sky we might build a high house and more other things.

What are the solutions?

The scientist said we can’t stop climate change now but we can slow it we can plant trees stop the deforestation, we can use energy wisely don’t use it on useless things, we waste things on the things that we do like gaming, computer, and other gadgets, I think using energy for work but using it for gaming is bad its ok to play but don’t use energy a lot, we can play outside try the things that you have never try you play games outside with your friends or have a friends time or family too. We can do a lot of things that can help the earth, let's do the things that will help our planet.

Conclusion

Climate change is a problem that can’t be stopped by scientists but we can slow it, but i think we can stop it!. My point in this Paragraph is if we didn’t stop the Climate change we will have a lot of problems like insect outbreak, declining water supplies, increased heat, and more. We are making the earth die but if that's happened we will all die, we can make it slow and help the earth. We should not waste power and save for the things that can help us. We need to plant trees, save energy, and do the best that we can to stop it, but not just for you but for the future generations too. We have destroyed a lot of tropical forests for wood. Hope you guys u learn something from my work and thanks for reading.

This is a link that can give you more info about global warming:Link

Image of antarctic iceImage of antarctic ice

This is the photo of the antarctic ice photo. In this photo you can see the ice melting because of climate change. The earth is getting warmer due to climate change. The large ices on Antarctica are turning on the water, we need to stop global warming before the water rises up. We should slow it while we can slow it.

                                                      Global warming

Heatwaves and hot weather | Australian Red CrossHotter weather expected for Friday, Cairo 36C - Egypt Independent

This is the earth getting hotter. Global warming is caused by Climate change and Climate change caused by Humanity. Humanity uses fossil fuels that make carbon dioxide and the carbon dioxide make the earth hotter the tropical forest/trees do breathe and when they inhale the carbon dioxide goes inside the trees and when the trees exhale it's gonna be clear air. It has become harder to stop climate change, not because of deforestation. I think we should slow climate change while we can! We should help to slow it, we would not wait until we can’t stop it anymore.

Film study: colouring & lighting

Hello guys, today I'm going to share my work at the hurumanu 2. on hurumanu 2 we watched a movie called Coraline. the teacher gives us a question and we answer it here's my answer.

Coraline work:

The Pink Palace Apartments | Coraline Wiki | Fandom

1.when we first see the real world.

2.when we first see the ‘other’ world.

3.other world after button eye.

4.real world after resolution.

1.                                                     (Real world)

At the start of the movie Coraline’s family moves to a house called the pink palace, the color of the house is a bit greyish, dull, dark, and old house. If you saw the house in the real world you would feel bored, sad,  you'll feel like you don’t care about it.

2.                                                     (otherworld)

When you saw the other world/Puppet world the house is colorful, the color of it is, bright color the feelings that you would feel if you saw the other world is welcome feeling, happy, confused, warm like you won’t be in trouble because they look so kind, happy, and trustworthy.

3.                                                    (Otherworld)

When you see the other world before the button eye, everything is like fantasy. Everything looks kind and they won’t hurt you, all of them look happy and won't do terrible things. The colors of it are colorful warm colors yellow warm colors make u feel happy, cozy, it makes you feel comfortable.

4.                                                    (Real world)

When you see the real world at the last part everything is natural the place is getting colorful everything is improving all of them helped Coraline make a colorful garden, the place will make you feel at home, her family gave her attention and they try to catch up with caroline, on the last part her family and neighbor are all helping each other and the color of the real world is getting a brighter, happier and warm feeling.

thanks for reading and hope you learn something!

Art: Photo montage

Hello, guys today I'm gonna share the work that I'm doing in Art. we had marked our own photo montage my photo montage has no meaning, but some other photomontages have some meaning on the photo, I made this photo and hope it's not that bad.

The info: you can see a big mushroom house and a mythical creature living in it, the creature I rhino but it has a big wing of an eagle and the way is a body and it lives in Forrest.  but I only made it up.

Subject matter

Form

Space- Composition

Content- Meaning

Your Photomontage

What is your main subject matter? Ahead or portrait? An animal? A vehicle? What can we identify? You can find some Rhino that has a wing and bug mushroom houses and many soldiers that have no head and they on a landscape.

Scale- between your subject matter, consistent or varied? Do you enlarge your photo fragments for emphasis? On this photomontage, you can see that the mushroom is bigger than the rhinos but the Rhinos have eagle wings and the soldiers are the floor.

Is your photomontage flat or does it have space (landscape or cityscape)?

What are your focal points?  It’s flat and it has trees like Forrest.

What do you want the viewer’s first reaction to being? Amusement? Awe? Shock? Puzzled?  Yes I want them to feel shocked, amused and amazed

How do you group your subject matter? Are they separate or do they touch one another? They touch one another because I make them in one image.

Do you work in black and white or colour? Does your colour create a mood or structure the college? I think yes cause there’s with and black in my photomontage.

Does your photomontage have leading lines? Do you repeat parts? Yes the rhinos and the eagle bird and the mushroom house

How does combining photo fragments together change the meaning of your subject matter? None of it doesn't have a meaning. I just did this for fun.

It puts the things that they live in the forest

What photo fragments do you add to the main subject? How does this change it? I edited it!!! That's how I change it

Do you use similar colour fragments to blend your photo fragments together? Yes, I removed the wings of the eagle and put it on the Rhino.

Is the scale of one part larger and more important than the others? I made the mushroom big as a rhino, and the wing of the eagle got bigger and got attached to the rhino.

Does it express any values or ideas? It's a strange place that have strange animals.

What, if anything, is happening in your photomontage? I make a house for the animals so they have a house to live in and if they are hungry they just need to go out and eat outside.

Do you mix together photos and other types of art? A realistic fragment and a cartoon? I mixed it but I didn’t mix any cartoon character

Do you use overlap, placement, tone/colour, or perspective to create a space? yes I use over placement of the figure

Are there any other unsuspected meanings that you can see? None
