Hello, guys today I'm gonna share the work that I'm doing in Art. we had marked our own photo montage my photo montage has no meaning, but some other photomontages have some meaning on the photo, I made this photo and hope it's not that bad.
The info: you can see a big mushroom house and a mythical creature living in it, the creature I rhino but it has a big wing of an eagle and the way is a body and it lives in Forrest. but I only made it up.
Subject matter | Form | Space- Composition | Content- Meaning | Your Photomontage |
What is your main subject matter? Ahead or portrait? An animal? A vehicle? What can we identify? You can find some Rhino that has a wing and bug mushroom houses and many soldiers that have no head and they on a landscape. | Scale- between your subject matter, consistent or varied? Do you enlarge your photo fragments for emphasis? On this photomontage, you can see that the mushroom is bigger than the rhinos but the Rhinos have eagle wings and the soldiers are the floor. | Is your photomontage flat or does it have space (landscape or cityscape)? What are your focal points? It’s flat and it has trees like Forrest. | What do you want the viewer’s first reaction to being? Amusement? Awe? Shock? Puzzled? Yes I want them to feel shocked, amused and amazed | |
How do you group your subject matter? Are they separate or do they touch one another? They touch one another because I make them in one image. | Do you work in black and white or colour? Does your colour create a mood or structure the college? I think yes cause there’s with and black in my photomontage. | Does your photomontage have leading lines? Do you repeat parts? Yes the rhinos and the eagle bird and the mushroom house | How does combining photo fragments together change the meaning of your subject matter? None of it doesn't have a meaning. I just did this for fun.
It puts the things that they live in the forest |
What photo fragments do you add to the main subject? How does this change it? I edited it!!! That's how I change it | Do you use similar colour fragments to blend your photo fragments together? Yes, I removed the wings of the eagle and put it on the Rhino. | Is the scale of one part larger and more important than the others? I made the mushroom big as a rhino, and the wing of the eagle got bigger and got attached to the rhino. | Does it express any values or ideas? It's a strange place that have strange animals. |
|
What, if anything, is happening in your photomontage? I make a house for the animals so they have a house to live in and if they are hungry they just need to go out and eat outside. | Do you mix together photos and other types of art? A realistic fragment and a cartoon? I mixed it but I didn’t mix any cartoon character | Do you use overlap, placement, tone/colour, or perspective to create a space? yes I use over placement of the figure | Are there any other unsuspected meanings that you can see? None |

Kia Ora Matt, I'm very glad to see this photomontage fantasy world that you've created with rhinos looking for wild mushrooms, or mushroom houses. your work is amusing. You've given the rhinos wings, have you considered placing them in the sky? Can you think of other stories to which your photomontage might relate? You have made a good effort with the questions but I think that there is meaning in they way you begin too relate your photomontage to other stories with winged creatures or three characters, for example.
